The outer frame is built using 18 mm thick pre-laminated particle board (BSL, ISI-approved), while the internal panels are 12 mm thick and the bottom board is 9 mm thick for added durability. This makes the pedestal sturdy enough for daily office or institutional use.

The pencil drawer runs on heavy-duty telescopic channels which are powder-coated for rust resistance and can withstand 30+ Kg load capacity. The filler cabinet door is mounted on soft-close hinges, ensuring smooth and noise-free usage while maintaining durability.

For security, the unit is equipped with two high-quality locks from EBCO – one for the drawer and one for the filler cabinet – allowing for separate locking of each compartment. Metallic handles (also from EBCO) add elegance and functionality.
